John was extremely helpful in the process of refinancing my home loan. Every obstacle and hurdle was reduced to nothing with his help. He made me feel at ease through the whole process and explained everything so it was very easily understood. I would recommend John and his company to anyone that needs a home loan or a refinancing because they are top-notch professionals.

1) Customer service is thumbs down. Never could get a straight answer. ALWAYS replying by email/ mail which would have been great however, Didn't always reply. 21 business days for any reply. 2) Wait times are extremely long. 3) Payment was late 1x in 12 years due to holiday mail & would refund HALF of the fee. 4) Paid off our loan Mid-Dec & need to wait 21 business days to " close" our escrow as its subject to change. ( per representative) If the home is paid off and the taxes and insurance are no longer needed, what is subject to change? So glad to NOT have Towne Mortgage any longer!!!!

When I first called to see what my options were for me to keep my home,in lieu of a divorce, I was very worried it would not be an option I could manage alone. I was worried I would have to move my son from the only home and friends etc he has ever known. I spoke to Steve from the get go, explained my situation and he said let me see what I can do to help. From that day forward, he has helped make my desire to keep my home, payoff my ex and our debts a reality. He worked very hard to come up with options for me to chose from and explained everything that I did not understand. It made this very difficult and emotional process for me, much easier. He understood my position and without judgment, helped me keep my home. I will forever be grateful for his hard work, knowledge, kindness and compassion so I could keep my home! I would recommend him to anyone!!

I have had great experiences with Towne Mortgage. Highly recommend. The loan process was smooth and quick. It was so easy. I really appreciate John took the time to explain everything to me and did not mind walking through different scenarios with me when I had questions. I feel like he had my best interests in mind.

Very poor experience overall. To get anything accomplished with these guys, it’s extremely difficult to get ahold of the right department. Even when you do get ahold of someone, the call quality is very poor and the agent is difficult to understand. Towne really needs to spend some money to update their infrastructure. It feels like I am doing things like I did in the early 2000’s, that is how outdated everything is.
