Matt helped us with the financing on the purchase of our first home. We were up against the wall competing with multiple offers. If we weren’t able to close a mortgage loan in a week we would have been forced to pay for the entire purchase in cash. Matt, through his expertise was able to get our loan cleared to close in two business days with an appraisal waiver. He’s easily the most knowledgeable mortgage broker I’ve ever worked with, and I’ve worked in the mortgage industry myself for almost 9 years. Matt Watkins is the only Loan Officer I will ever work with. He helped me get two mortgages so far, one to purchase a home several years ago, and then a refinance that ended up saving me thousands of dollars. Each time the process was simpler and easier than I expected. I worked for several years in the mortgage industry and like to think I have a good understanding of how complex a mortgage can be… but even Matt found ways to impress and surprise me. His knowledge and understanding makes what can often be a frustrating experience seem again, easy. Even though I understood the process, he still took the time to explain everything and walked me through what we would need to get the loans closed.
