Marty and his team were not only knowledgeable and professional but also easy to work with, personable and highly efficient. They kept us updated through out the entire process and closed our loan quickly. Whenever we had questions they were always very responsive and we felt that they had our best interest in mind. This was our first experience with Gold Star after working with another lender for other loans. I was very impressed with the service from beginning to end and gladly recommend them.

Marty and his team are the best, i would recommend Gold Star to anyone. Marty worked overtime for my family, because of him and his team my husband and i own our first home. We went in with zero knowledge, Marty was extremely understanding and very patient with us. He was always easy to contact, welcomed all questions. I was introduced to Marty Schaefer through my realtor when I was buying my first home; and was extremely happy to work with him again when buying my second home. I cannot say enough good things about Marty- he is always available if you have questions and explains everything thoroughly; and he is so knowledgeable. I even referred a family member to him when they were having trouble getting a mortgage; and of course Marty was able to help- because he is amazing!
