Darrick worked tirelessly to get our home buying process back on the right track. We already had a unique circumstance that was made even more complex by our previous lender. It was an emotional roller coaster. However, when Darrick took over the communication was impeccable, honest, proper expectations were always set and met. We always knew what to anticipate as he was very proactive, by requesting documents recognizing the underwriter would likely ask for them. This helped with not interrupting our work day. Five star is not enough to rate Darrick and the staff at Next Door Lending. First of all, he is very courteous and was there to answer all my questions promptly. He took me step by step through the process so I could understand clearly. He was able to communicate with me via text as well as email, since it was hard for me to talk on the phone due to my work. Most importantly, the refinancing took little time. During the final closing, Darrick explained each section of my closing disclosure. The service he provided was exemplary and the entire experience was phenomenal. You feel like family with Next Door Lending. Darrick Ervin at Mortgage Next Door Lending has been nothing but the greatest when working on buying a home. He answered all our calls and texts whenever we needed something and explained everything in great detail! Pedro Quiroz our realtor has also been helpful before and after the sale which means a lot to us. He has been tremendously helpful in finding a home for us and being patient with our million questions and always kept us updated when it came to purchasing the home we bought. Brooke and Stephanie who were also behind the scenes when it came to the underwriting process/paperwork. They were also a great help; it takes a whole village to be able to close and these ladies did a great job. The whole team itself has made this experience less stressful than I thought it was going to be.

I had the pleasure of working with Darrick Ervin II and his team on purchasing this lovely home. I have Bought in five homes previous to this house. Darrick and his team worked non-stop until I took possession of the home. I would get calls in the middle of the night. Given me updates on where we was at with in the process. I would call Darrick and he would answer no matter what time of day or night it was. I never had a mortgage person come to the closing to make sure there was no issues. I am very impressed by his professional work and the way he structure the deal. I am a Licensed Residential Builder as well as an Licensed Building Inspector, Code Enforcer, and Plan Reviewer.
